you know that dream
the one where you are under water
and you look up through the rippling waves
and you think you can see the sun
as far as you swim
you can't break the surface
and the violent blue turns
the sea has turned into darkness
carried away by the silence
your body is weightless in the water
then your slammed into reality
lungs screaming and skin raw
he's pulled you out of the water
your body isn't even cold
his hands are too warm
he's pulled you out of the water
